2012 Ford Focus


When Alan Mulally becomes CEO at Ford in 2006, one of his objectives has been to develop products on a worldwide basis. In between the Focus going to sale in the U.S. as a 2000 model and Mulally taking over, product development in Europe and North America took off in different directions. Starting the 2011, the Focus in both Europe and North America will be the same car. It’s come like this because the big differences between the Focus in these two countries. The new Focus will get some improvements because they want to increase the horse power and the torque in the engine. The Focus will go to sale with two available transmissions. The Ford want to challenge the Mazda 3 and the VW Golf with the latest Focus.
